Circular enamelled metal medallion produced by the anti-suffrage movement. With a black enamelled border marked 'National League for Opposing Woman Suffrage'. In the centre is a white enamelled flower sprig on a pink/red background. There is a small loop in the top of the medallion for the insertion of a safety pin. The National League for Opposing Woman Suffrage was established in 1910 as an amalgamation of the Ladies League for Opposing Women's Suffrage and the Men's League for Opposing Women's Suffrage. They published a monthly Review and formed many local branches. By 1914 they had 42,000 members - most being women. The medallion is missing the bar or pin used for attaching to clothing.
