  • NUWSS rally, London, July 1910. The rally that took place at Trafalgar Square on Sat 9 July 1910 was organised by the London Society of the National Union of Women's Suffrage Societies in support of the Conciliation Bill being discussed in Parliament that would have given some women the right to vote. The wording on the banner refers to the Voters' petitions in support of female suffrage, totalling 280 000 signatures collected by the NUWSS during the general election of 1910 in over 290 constituencies.
