  • Typed letter on WSPU headquarters headed paper signed A B Hambling. Addressed to Elsie Howey at Holly Lodge, Cradley Malvern the letter refers to the enclosure of a 'a Steward's ticket' for admission to the Albert Hall on Friday March 18th 1910. The letter also notes 'Will you please by there at 6.45pm sharp and go straight to the Speaker's room where you will find either Miss Kenney or myself ready to give you instructions. May I ask you if possible to wear white, and of course a Votes for Women regalia.'
