  • Girl's dress from the 1770s, made of linen printed in purple with a floral design of acorns on stems. The bodice is lined with fine white linen, the rest of the dress is unlined. There is some pieceing on the skirt which indicates that the dress was altered to accommodate growth. Additional material was added to the sleeves, possibly for the same reason.  < ...Read more
