  • Suffrage banner carried by the Hampstead branch of the Women's Freedom League. Designed in the league colours of gold, green and white this shield shaped banner is of coarse white linen, with green cording and yellow & green paint. It has a central coat of arms with a stag's head and painted chequered side borders in green and yellow. 'Women's Freedom League' is printed at the centre top with 'Hampstead Branch' at the bottom. The Latin inscription on the banner, 'Non Sibi Sed Toti' translates as 'Not for Oneself but for All'.
