  • The Suffragette leader Flora Drummond in full regalia on horseback. Referred to as 'The General', Flora played a key role in organising Suffragette processions, often, as seen here, directing proceedings on horseback. The peaked cap, epaulettes and sash bearing the word 'General', worn by Flora were made for her by Toye & Company for Women's Sunday in June 1908.
