  • Teacup and saucer commemorating the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Victoria. Both cup and saucer have blue bodies and are decorated with coloured and gold applied and raised decoration. The inscription reads: TO COMMEMORATE THE 60 YEARS REIGN OF HER MAJESTY QUEEN VICTORIA/JUNE 20TH 1897, and is decorated with roses, thistles and shamrocks. The saucer has a similar decoration but is only inscribed with the dates 1837-1897. Made by William Lowe at Longton in Staffordshire.
