  • Handcoloured and hand decorated tinsel portrait of a mounted St David of Wales charging into battle. Although most tinsel prints depicted actors, later publishers featured subjects away from the stage. This portrait is mounted on card handcoloured with background scenery and embellished with silk clothing and tinsel ornaments. Printed along the bottom 'Coloured & sold Wholesale & Retail by J. Redington at his Theatrical Print, Play & Tinsel Warehouse, 208 Hoxton Old Town and Jonathan King, 45 Chapel St., Somers Town.
