  • Racecourse stand wrecked by suffragettes. Suffragettes vandalised several recreation facilities. Their actions included burning 'No Votes, No Golf' into golf greens or burning pavilions and stands. Most arson and bombing raids were carried out in the middle of the night, resulting in very few suffragettes being caught and sent to prison.
