  • Suffragette 'From Prison to Citizenship' Procession, 18 June 1910. At the head of the procession can be seen the flag bearer Charlotte Marsh, behind her the WSPU Drum and Fife Band with Mary Leigh as bandmistress. The band introduced the Prisoners' Pageant of 617 suffragette prisoners, dressed in white and carrying broad arrows - the emblems of their imprisonment.
