  • Postcard with photograph of a statue of Joan of Arc with a wreath on it, with the dedication 'In Honour and in Loving and Revered Memory of Emily Wilding Davison, She Died For Women'. During the 1913 Derby Davison ran out onto the racetrack in an attempt to stop the King's horse. She received serious head injuries and died 4 days later. The WSPU organised a spectacular funeral procession in her honour.
