  • Copper-engraved trade card publicising the business of the cabinet maker John Unwin located at the Upper End of Great Tower Street. The card is engraved with the tradesman's sign of an inlaid wooden cabinet within an ornate cartouche. Although the card refers to John Unwin as a 'cabinet maker' it also notes he made, bought and sold a vast range of other goods including picture frames, chairs, clock cases, funeral furnishings and general household and glass wares. The trade card also includes a handwritten receipt for the payment of goods supplied to Captain Phillips.
