Unfinished, partly worked, panel drawn out on linen. The tapes by which the panel was attached to the embroidery frame are still sewn to the edges of the panel. The embroidery is reputed to have been saved from a house in Cheapside at the time of the Great Fire of London in 1666.

A figure of a woman representing Faith has been drawn in the centre of the design. The oval frame that encloses her resembles the style of frame associated with the designs of the embroiderer and pattern drawer John Nelham. Three of the four floral slips drawn in each corner have been embroidered in polychrome silks; the embroiderer has started working the outlines on the fourth slip. The embroiderer has also completed the stag and unicorn drawn to the left and right of the frame at the bottom of the panel but the birds and insects above it have not been started.
