  • Mill Green ware miniature anthropomorphic jug. The jug is in the shape of a man pulling at his beard with both hands. He has a buckle or brooch on his torso. Potters at Mill Green near Brentwood, Essex, made kitchen pots for local use as well as fine decorated jugs that were sold in London and in Kent.
