  • Leather knife sheath. Impressed decoration with incised stabbing. The decoration is divided into two panels denoting the handle and blade areas. The front blade area is decorated with small animals (lions?) enclosed in circular frames formed by a scrolling tendril. The handle area has a possible bird within a semi-circular frame. Both the animals and the bird are impressed but are decoarated with small stabbed and incised dots and dashes. The back has linear decoration on the handle section and a half tree within a semi-circular frame. Side of back seam with edge/grain stitch holes. There are four suspension slots on the back. On one side of the front there is a moulding in the form of a small secondary sheath.
