  • Leather knife sheath with impressed decoration which is divided into two panels reflecting the handle and blade areas. The handle area on the front has a semi-circle containing a bird, whilst the blade area has scolling foliage and zoomorphic motifs. The back is incomplete but part of the blade section survives with semi-circles containing bird-like creatures. All of the impressed decoration is high-lighted with small pricked or stabbed dots and dashes. Parts of the background are covered in shallow impressed fine parallel lines. There is an incomplete side of centre back seam with edge/grain stitch holes.
