  • Guy the Gorilla at London Zoo. As can be seen from the crowds of visitors looking ino the cage, he was one of the most popular animals to have lived at the zoo. Guy arrived at London Zoo on Guy Fawkes night (hence his name) in 1947. He lived at the zoo for 31 years until his death in 1978.
