  • Damaged wood patten with triangular plain leather strap surviving on the right hand side. The strap is of a single thickness of leather and is attached by two nails (although only one survives). Approximately half of the patten is missing but there are the remains of a pointed toe. Possibly for a left foot. Two wedges survive on the base of the patten, at the heel and tread. Note says: From a 15th-century silt deposit.
