  • Part of a pilgrim badge from the shrine of St Thomas Becket at Canterbury Cathedral. This badge is in the form of a pair of gloves (one of the pair is missing; this is the right-hand glove). Various articles of Becket’s clothing were worshipped at Canterbury, including his gloves, sandals, hair shirt, mitre, half-boots and girdle.
